About Us

Senior Transitions was created so that older and disabled adults, or their family members, would have a single point of contact to coordinate care and other services for themselves and their loved ones. John E. Suthers, a Savannah, Georgia attorney who has years of experience in elder care matters, is the founder and President of Senior Transitions. The company is comprised of experienced professionals who provide a wide variety of services associated with the ever-changing needs of older and disabled adults. Our experience makes us uniquely qualified to help manage any financial, legal, healthcare, and day-to-day needs of our clients.

In many cases, older adults have children who live far away or who do not have the time or ability to do all that they would like to do for their aging parents. In some cases, after the loss of a spouse or an adult child, older adults have no family available to help them manage their financial affairs or healthcare as their needs change. Senior Transitions can provide: (1) professional services of a trustee, conservator or guardian; (2) elder care management by a registered nurse; (3) private home care, such as personal care, companionship and home helpers; (4) bill-paying by bonded daily money managers; and (5) assistance with senior moves. Having a single point of contact to coordinate all of these resources enables families to respond quickly when their loved ones' needs change.
